With the start of a new academic year, we’d like to offer a warm welcome all of you who are new to the Visual & Critical Studies Program, and welcome back our returning students, faculty, and everyone else in the VCS community. Although this semester is bound to be fairly different due to our temporary move to distance learning, and we’ll miss meeting with everyone in person, we’re looking forward to seeing and working with all of you online.
The VCS blog will continue to be an integral part of our virtual community, and we’re excited about keeping all of you informed about exhibitions, events, publications, and other aspects of life in and around the VCS program. Over the next few days, I’ll be posting updates on some of our graduates and faculty, announcements of upcoming events and exhibitions, and some news about the VCS blog itself.
We’re always looking for contributions from members of the VCS community, so please send along anything you’d like to see posted here. We’ve already got an online form available for submission of artworks, writings, announcements, and other content, so feel free to submit anything you’d like to share with the rest of us.
