The Spring 2010 issue of SVA’s Visual Arts Journal includes a short article about Outpost, the student-organized exhibition that examined what happens when cash is taken out of the art market equation and artworks are offered for barter rather than sale. Titled “For What It’s Worth,” the article includes comments from Outpost’s faculty advisor Amy Wilson, who started the original discussion among VCS students that led to the exhibition’s creation.

An online version of the Journal can be found at this link, and the article is contained on this page.
