VCS in action

I’ve just received a large set of images taken in the VCS department over the last few months; I’ll start posting some of them over the next few weeks, whenever there’s space in the blog’s schedule. Upcoming posts will feature photos of student artwork from last spring’s portfolio reviews, the 2011 year-end Open Studio event, and a selection of shots taken during various VCS classes and activities.

Today, I’d like to start off with a follow-up to this post from last summer, which showed the department’s new home, empty and waiting for the academic year to start. The fall semester is well under way and everyone has settled into the new space; here are some shots of the fourth floor studios and library in use.

A long shot down the main hall.

I’ll be back in a couple days with the next set of photos.
