Tomorrow’s lecture by Anna-Louise Kratzsch

Tomorrow evening (Monday, March 1st) at 6:30 p.m., the Visual & Critical Studies Department will present a lecture by Anna-Louise Kratzsch, founder and curator of the Leipzig International Art Programme (LIA). As stated in the event announcement on the SVA web site, Kratzsch “will present a history of Leipzig’s schools of art, their protagonists and the historical and current reception of figurative art in Germany, particularly during Communist rule and continuing into the present.”

The lecture will be presented at 133/144 West 21 Street in room 101C, and is free and open to the public.

As usual, I will present a report on the lecture in a future post.
