This Thursday evening: ONEIRIC APPARATUS, curated by Julia Santoli

Here’s an announcement from VCS alumna  Julia Santoli  about a one-night exhibition that she and two of our other alumni will be participating in this Thursday evening in Williamsburg:

I’m super excited to be organizing a show on behalf of Art Theory Project, a reading group/collective of sorts. We have a relationship with Williamsburg Community Center, and will be teaching bi-weekly workshops there as well as creating one-night exhibitions. The first one is this Thursday, curated by myself and including works by VCS alumni Rachel Zaretsky and Conner Calhoun:

ONEIRIC APPARATUS is a one-night multi-media exhibition featuring works created of ritual– from ecstatic visions and mythic re-imaginings, to devastating and absurd performative gestures. The night is an inauguration of ATP’s collaboration with Williamsburg Community Center, and a celebration of the many voices that will be involved.
