This Thursday: a video screening at Louis B James Gallery, curated by Brooke Tomiello

Diff’rent Strokes

It’s the last week of the exhibition “Diff’rent Strokes: Small Paintings and Intimate Performances” at Louis B. James, which I wrote about last time. As part of the show’s final days, the gallery is hosting a series of live events this Thursday evening, August 22nd, including the performances Serenata by Marissa Mickelberg and Stripping Down with David Mramor, and a screening of a series of videos curated by VCS alumna Brooke Tomiello.

Here’s a brief announcement that Brooke sent out about the latter:

Hey everyone – we’re having a screening this Thursday at Louis B James Gallery with all the artists videos in a row – kind of like a video-art marathon!

Hope you can make it! Starts at 7:30pm at 143b Orchard Street. BYOP – bring your own popcorn! Bring your friends!

You can see the Facebook event for the screening at this link.
