This Saturday, November 5th: an open house at the SVA Theatre for the Visual & Critical Studies program
This coming Saturday (November 5th, 2016), the School of Visual Arts will host an open house at the SVA Theatre for the BFA Visual & Critical Studies program a well as SVA’s undergraduate programs in Computer Art, Computer Animation & Visual Effects, and Film. Here’s an overview of the open house from SVA.

SVA welcomes prospective students and their families to meet with the President of the College, the chairs of the undergraduate departments being showcased that day, current SVA students, and representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, Residence Life and Student Affairs. There will also be tours of the undergraduate departments and housing facilities. In the afternoon, Admissions will present on portfolio development for admission and scholarship consideration.

As with some of our previous open houses, the VCS Department tour will include a brief version of faculty member Peter Hristoff’s drawing workshop for prospective students.
