New videos on the VCS iTunes U page

Now that the 2011/2012 academic year is over and we’re heading into summer, I’ll be returning to my usual summer schedule, adding new posts every five or six days until the beginning of the next school year in September. Summer posts will feature updates on students and alumni, announcements of new developments in the Visual & Critical Studies program, and a look back at various events and exhibitions from last year.

Today’s post is a follow-up to the last semester’s Art in the First Person lecture series. Videos of two more VCS-sponsored events from the series have now been posted in the Visual & Critical Studies section of SVA’s iTunes U page: “The Gertrude Stein Paradox,” a panel discussion moderated by historian and SVA faculty member Michèle C. Cone that took place on April 2nd, and “Yes, You Don’t Know Me—Susan Hefuna in Conversation with Bettina Mathes,” which took place on April 17th.

Each video is free, and can be downloaded or viewed in a pop-up window in iTunes. To visit the site and see a list of all of our videos of past lectures and panel discussions, click on this link, or either of the screenshots above.
