Today we’ve got a call for submissions from VCS student Brittney Najar for an upcoming benefit exhibition she’s involved with. Here’s the information she sent us:
The Student Coalition For Progressive Action has organized a benefit show called The Heritage Project; a three-day fundraiser for NYC-based ACLU-affiliated Immigration Law Services focused on student-led activism and cultural exchange through the visual and culinary arts. We are looking for art and food submissions for the show. We really want as many students involved as possible!

The Student Coalition For Progressive Action is proud to announce The Heritage Project; a three-day fundraiser for NYC Based ACLU-affiliated Immigration Law Servicesin collaboration with The Hester Street Fair. Focused on student-led activism and cultural exchange through the visual and culinary arts we’ll be hosting panel discussions, an art fair, and a potluck that focus in on exploring the ideas of heritage, personal histories and what it means to assimilate and organize as students in the 21st century.
