Coming October 3rd: the annual VCS Apple Picking Trip (registration deadline this Monday, September 21st)
It’s time for the Visual and Critical Studies Department’s annual Apple Picking Trip! We will be visiting Dubois Farm in Highland, NY on Saturday, October 3rd.
Join us for a day trip filled with fun autumn activities like apple picking and hanging out with farm animals! In addition to apples, the farm also has grapes, pears, pumpkins, and other fruits you can pick. You will have the option to choose a 2lb. or 5lb. bag, which you may fill with as much or as little as you’d like.
Lunch will be provided lovingly by the department. The farm has both meat and vegetarian barbecue and, very importantly, apple cider doughnuts and other baked goods.
We will meet in front of the VCS building (133/141 W 21 St) at 10am. The farm is just under two hours away by bus, and we will return to the same location in the late afternoon.
Seating is limited! If you are interested in coming, please stop by the VCS Office with a $20 deposit by Monday, September 21st. The deposit will be returned to you on the bus.
