Catch up with Olivia Li at the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo in the MICE podcast The Squeak, and Fully Funded: A Kickstarter Q&A
Cartoonist, artist, and VCS alumna Olivia Li was jusr featured in the first episode of the podcast The Squeak, launched last week as part of this year’s online incarnation of The Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo (MICE). A few days ago, Olivia also moderated the webinar Fully Funded: A Kickstarter Q&A, which dealt with the ins and outs of crowdfunding independent comics. (You can watch a replay of it here.)
Here’s more about The Squeak from MICE’s launch announcement, followed by information about the webinar and Olivia’s bio from the MICE 2020 website. (Be sure to check out her website too, and this post from last year about a Kickstarter-funded graphic novel by comic artist LB Lee that Olivia published.)
Introducing The Squeak!
How can you have a whole podcast about a comics festival? Well, a podcast about MICE is a podcast about independent comics. Our goal is for The Squeak to act as an extension of MICE; we will bring you lively conversations about comics and resources for making them from a diversity of voices and perspectives.
The first episode of our show is out today! We hope you’ll give it a listen wherever you listen to podcasts:
Thursday – October 8, 2020 | 7:00 – 8:00 pm EDT (replay)
