Today’s post presents an announcement from recent VCS graduate Andrea Garcia and her filmmaking partner Rosie McNeill about the Kickstarter campaign they’ve launched to fund a new film project:
We are SoapSkeptics, Andrea Garcia and Rosie McNeill. We are filming a documentary this summer about the ways in which our society and culture in 2014 has influenced individual artists’ art practice. SoapSkeptics will be traveling by car from city to city to meet with different artists and discuss these subjects.
We are asking all of our friends, family, mentors, and peers to help us make this project happen by supporting us in some way. We just launched our KickStarter campaign in order to help us raise $5,000 to make this trip possible. The KickStarter is open for backing until June 30, 2014!
Specified details on the project, fun facts, and rewards for anyone who is generous enough to donate can be viewed on our KickStarter page.
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD and feel free to contact us or check out our blogs and sites:
We are so grateful for any help we receive!
