An open call for “Matter of Fact,” a found-object show to take place during the VCS Open Studios on April 29th
VCS student Ben RY has put out a call for submissions for “Matter of Fact,” a group exhibition of found objects set to take place during the VCS open studios on April 29th. The show is open to all non-senior students and faculty, including people from SVA departments outside the Visual & Critical Studies program. Here are all the details:
OPEN CALL to all non-senior SVA students and faculty. This show is intended to exhibit found objects or images that have been collected, bought, or discovered. The object can be anything from post-mortem Civil War photos to expired bus tickets, receipts and someone’s family photos.
We need all submissions by April 15th between 9am and 11pm. (I will accept submissions before the deadline. Email at the bottom.
The show, “Matter of Fact,” is curated by Ben RY (me) during the VCS open studios on April 29th from 5pm to 9pm. The show will take place on the 4th floor in room 401c.
