Amy Wilson in the group show My Silences Had Not Protected Me, opening this Thursday, November 8th at Fort Gansevoort (also: news about a catalog for her recent exhibition in the Flatiron Project Space)
VCS faculty member Amy Wilson has a piece in the group show My Silences Had Not Protected Me: An exhibition in partnership with For Freedoms, which opens this Thursday at Fort Gansevoort on Ninth Avenue. Here’s the show’s press release (click either image below to open a PDF of both pages):
Amy’s also just released a catalog for her recent Flatiron Project Space exhibition We Lit Up the Sky (that’s the cover to the right). The book includes documentation of the embroideries and lace work in the show, along with an essay by writer and critic Michael Lindgren, who was featured here on the VCS blog just a few days ago.
