A reception for the 2017 HOPE Art Competition and Exhibition, this Friday, February 17th at 5:30 pm
This Friday at 5:30 pm, the SVA Flatiron Gallery will host the opening reception for “Expressing Your Unique Identity,” this year’s HOPE Art Competition exhibition. During the reception, Tom Huhn’s selections for the 2017 first-, second-, and third-place winners will be announced. Here’s more about the exhibition from the SVA calendar:

SVA Student Health and Counseling Services presents an exhibition of art created by SVA students that expresses their identity, aspects of identity and/or the intersectionality of various identities. The exhibition celebrates the diversity of the College and New York City, and how each student plays a part in creating an accepting community.
Finalists’ art will be on view from Thursday, February 16 – Saturday, February 18 in the SVA Flatiron Windows. First-, second- and third-place winners will be announced at the reception at the SVA Flatiron Gallery on Friday, February 17.
