The SVA Alumni Society recently announced the recipients of the 2014 Alumni Scholarship Award, and we were very pleased to learn that VCS senior Alexandra Manikas is one of this year’s awardees. Congratulations, Alexandra!

Here’s a little more about the award from this month’s SVA Alumni Newsletter:

Each year the Alumni Society provides a variety of scholarships and awards to students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in all majors offered by the College. These awards are made possible by contributions received from alumni and friends of the society to the annual Support the Talent campaign. Alumni Scholarship Awards are given to final year students to aid in the completion of final thesis and portfolio projects. Visit the SVA Alumni Society to view a complete list of 2014 recipients and past award–recipient stories.
