The exhibition will run November 8 – December 1, with an opening reception on Thursday, November 9, 6-8PM .
Joelson has been a member of the BFA Fine Arts faculty at the School of Visual Arts since 1989, the MFA Illustration faculty from 1995 to 2004, a mentor in the SVA MFA Art Practice and on the BFA Visual and Critical Studies faculty since 2014.
A survey of paintings that cover this time will scroll on the gallery monitor.
“Over the years the appearance changes but the conflict between order and the utter lack of it remains.”
