Since my last post, a new response to our recent Zombie Formalism panel by critic Howard Hurst has been published on Hyperallergic. Hurst does an excellent job of situating the evening’s discussion within a larger conversation about painting and the market that’s been going on in the art world over the last few years. His take on the panel has an admirable sense of historical perspective, and is very evenhanded. If you haven’t already read it, it’s well worth a look.
