This Friday, the Visual & Critical Studies Department will open its doors for our 2016 Open Studios. Works by graduating seniors and other VCS students will be on display at 133 West 21st Street from 5 to 9 pm.

This year VCS will present several concurrent events throughout the evening, including the ongoing first-floor VCS Gallery show “Planting Season,” curated by Susan Joelson, and the following exhibitions on the fourth floor: “The I Can’t Woman,” curated by Dilys Ng; “Retreat Emerge,” curated by Chaerin Ahn and Peter Hristoff; “Matter of Fact,” curated by Ben RY; and the BFA Senior Open Studios, curated by Adam Mrlik, Dilys Ng, and Zoe Weinstein.

A full listing of participating artists in each show is available on our invitation postcard, shown at the left.

The open studios are free and open to the public. We hope to see you there.
